Pat, time does seem to be in short supply in the teen years--a lot of learning and living goes on at that time.

Right on, sister! In my experience, young people have great thoughts and observations about things, especially the status quo, since they haven't had time to become The Man yet, really. They see things that older people have become inured to. And they're plenty willing to talk and express themselves if people take them seriously and give them some basic respect.
