I was excited to get your newsletter this morning. I had signed up for the carrot extended of the copies of your book given in advance of publication, but was not sure I had succeeded in my quest. But YES. Fun. I also checked out your web site. It’s fun to see you taking advantage of all this new technology. Right on!
Laurie, would you ever consider coming to Humboldt County (Eureka, Arcata) as part of a book tour. You have a lot of fans up here and we would love to see you.
Like the changes to the website – shall enjoy exploring the links over the next few weeks which will provide a welcome diversion from my revision/exams. Thanks for the newsletter too.
The new site is clear, informative and fresh! Everything we need.
I’m giggling about the “dude” comment. I’m a 48 year old female. Last year a fellow 48 year old female looked at a project I was painting on and said “DUDE, you SO are happening”. Ever since then I’ve become fond of the word…
Darn! I am going to miss your event at Stacey’s in San Francisco by just two days – and only because I cut the last four days off my trip when I paid for it last week. That’ll teach me. Hope to see you on the UK tour in September, then…!
I’d like to second anonymous’s query about venturing east of the Rockies. I would be willing to drive to DC or Myrtle Beach, maybe even Charlotte. Chapel Hill has a lovely University, with plenty of venues off-campus to attract a crowd of booklovers/readers.
Am waiting for TAOD to be released at my local independent bookstore, Quail Ridge Books, of Raleigh, NC (who, btw, regularly host author signings).
Totally rockin’, dude!
Looks good!

Does Ms. King or anyone else who reads this have any information about when the next Mary Russell book is coming out? Thanks. 🙂

Looks great! Now I only wish you ventured outside of the west coast on your tours…

Jumping off the soapbox, now!
