A meet-up

If you’d like to join us for lunch during my time in Madison, WI for BoucherCon, some Friends of King (and King herself) will be at the Café Continental at 108 King (!) Street in Madison, from 12:30 until about 2:00. See you then!

Of course, if you’re in Chicago, come see us at Centuries and Sleuths Wednesday night.

I’ll try to blog on the road, but it will depend on what kind of Internet services I find.

And for Antigonos, Noel’s parents were William and Mary. Thank you for the kind thought.

I wish I could be there! I hope that you have an enjoyable–and relaxing–time.

For those of us who did not understand what Antigonos meant about putting “a ‘pitka’ in the Kotel for his ‘refuah shelayma’: Antigonos is going to place a prayer request for Noel’s complete recovery, written on a small piece of paper, in a crack of the Western Wall in Jerusalem. (I looked it up on the Internet.)

Alas, I won’t be able to make it as I just can’t get out of teaching that afternoon.

I think it is just so incredible that you would be so open and willing to have lunch with your fans. I look forward to meet you Saturday at Booked for Murder!

I’m looking forward to meeting fellow Friends of King! One helpful fact, a good parking ramp might be the Johnson and Carroll one. Then you walk around the Square to King St. (King St. is different from M.L. King Ave. in Madison). –Meredith T.
