Week Nine, already?!

More than halfway through the Fifteen Weeks of Bees now, which means only 29 days until the launch party for The Language of Bees! (You have read the first two chapters of the book, right?)

Last week, we drew Staci Burr’s name from those who entered the Russell Trivia challenge—congratulations, Staci, you have an ARC of The Language of Bees coming your way. This week’s contest is…a crossword! Yep, another diabolical challenge from the Resident Puzzler, Marjorie, with the prize an autographed set of the gorgeous first four Russells from Picador Press. And, just to give you a head’s up, Week Ten’s contest (for a hardcover of The Language of Bees) will be over at my Goodreads page.

And now that we’re finished with the contest and drawing news, what about the latest in Mary Russell’s perplexing saga of How I Came to Send My Memoirs to Laurie King over at her Myspace blog. I mean, I’ve had some tough trips to the post office, but hers truly wins some kind of prize.

Compliments for yet another wonderful puzzle, LaideeMarjorie! I loved your idea to introduce “apis” spelling for certain terms. Lots of fun for a brain still recovering from a severe cold.

I’m so excited that I won last week’s puzzle and can’t wait to get my hands on my ARC of the Language of the Bees. Friday was my birthday so winning was like the best birthday gift ever.
Good luck to everyone on this week’s crossword puzzle!
    ~Staci
