Free e-book!

Thanks to the untiring efforts of web maven Vicki and the generosity of Picador Press, from now until tax day you can download a free e-book of The Beekeeper’s Apprentice over at TheBeeisFree.com.  Enjoy, tell all your friends, download it onto its various machines, and let us know how you like this.

I’m not at all sure what Mary Russell would make of it.  Holmes?  he’d be all in favo(u)r.

I have posted the link at the message board I belong to for my small theatre group. And I have twittered out the link (so now even Stephen Fry, who follows me, knows about it. LOL). I hope that all of this brings lots of new readers into the fold.

    WONDERFUL!!!

I had it sent to my Kindle and it worked wonderfullly. I loaned my copy of BEEK to a friend and it didn’t come back. Now I have it again.

I love the book…and I love my Kindle.

Now I just need for the others to be put on the Kindle. LOCK, JUST, and GAME already are of course.

    THANK YOU!

I feel that it is right in the world that Stephen Fry should know about BEEK. I bet he’d LOVE it!

Oh, I’m so glad it worked to send it to your Kindle, Yondalla–I know of one person who had difficulties getting it on hers, but I’m glad your experience went smoothly! We’ve gotten some feedback that the files won’t work on some mobile devices. So I’m gathering that feedback and will send on in the hope that it may help with future offers.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, but I think at least the first four Russells will be into the Kindle Store soon.

Someone posted this link on the Amazon Kindle forum. Of course I downloaded it to my Kindle (no problems getting it on there). I’m a new fan of Laurie King! I absolutely loved this book and I’m on my way to Amazon to purchase another of her books. I hope to see all of your books available on Kindle soon, Ms. King.

The Kindle e-book of The Language of Bees will be simultaneous with the hardback, and I think the others are coming.
