Red hot links

We got your red-hot links, right here, ground fine and fired up for your enjoyment.

First off is a video production of The Beekeeper’s Apprentice.  Well, parts of it.  Actually it’s a video of the Sussex landscape where Russell and Holmes live, with yours truly reading from the book.

Then there’s a podcast, or an MP3cast, of me again, talking to Rick Kleffel about writing, Russell, and the whole Fifteen Weeks of Bees thing.

And last but by no means least, to fulfill the print quota for the day, I have an interview over at International Thriller Writers about The Language of Bees.

For those of you who read this blog at work, tell your boss it’s research.

At 6:06 on the video, is that a photo of Holmes and Russell on the beach in Sussex? However did you manage that? Lovely. Makes me want to walk those fields and pat those sheep and breathe in that air. Thanks.

Great eyes, Marjorie. I had missed that on my first viewing, but paused it at the time you mentioned and…well…it does seem likely doesn’t it? As I recall Ms. King had tea with Russell when she visited last year. Miss Russell blogged about it on her MySpace Page (www.myspace.com/maryrussell). See “Tea with Ms. King in Sussex” May 29, 2008 blog.

I also loved the podcast, especially since a fan fiction site devoted to Russell and Holmes fan fiction was mentioned. Hummmm, wonder if that could be Letters Of Mary? (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Letters_Of_Mary)
