My Holiday List

Barnes & Noble asked me to share my holiday giving list with them. Not that you’re getting one of these books from me, if you’re one of my friends-and-relations. You probably already have one, since I’ve been shoving these at everyone I know all year.

But for those of you who want to know what I WOULD give my friends-and-relations if I hadn’t already, here you go. Just in time for Cyber Monday, how timely of me:

My holiday list.

Thanks for the list and the short “blurb” on each one. Now I have more books to explore.

Ditto for me, as well; and I would only add that referencing the commentary for “The Girl With Gifts,” I raise a question on grammar, to wit: “science and the tension are only . . . ,” and not “is the only . . .,” because the compound subject requires a plural verb? Thank you.

What a great list, Laurie! The list itself is a gift to your readers. And of course it reminded me that I have a couple of these things on my Kindle already….

Love the list! I already have the first three, but I’ve placed Girl Waits with Gun on my list of books for myself, along with one that’s been lingering on my wish list for a while, H is for Hawk. Thinking about purchasing The Dinosaur Disaster for my granddaughter. Thanks, Laurie, for these suggestions.

Thanks for the list! We set out to create a reader in our daughter and were quite successful, I realized the day we were pulling the wagonload of books home from the library, our daughter dangling her legs off the wagon’s backend reading her first choice. She reads you too but only recently got started on Mary Russell. Enjoy your Chtistmas!
