What a wonderful surprise to brighten up an otherwise gloomy day. Thank you so much! 😀

I am a big fan of the Mary Russell books. I am also a big fan of acrostic puzzles and I run a website devoted to them. Marjorie’s puzzle was a lot of fun,
but it was not a traditional acrostic. In an acrostic puzzle, when you stack up the answers and read down the first letters, you should spell out the name of the
author and/or the book the quote comes from. Your puzzle spells “twmgcsmcsst” !

Oh, Sue, I am lucky that I spelled tutelage right! Never mind trying to make the first letters spell out anything with no vowels!!! Call it a semi-acrostic! Or just a word puzzle. LOL.

I DO know that I am a complete amateur at this puzzle thing, but at least I achieved the goal of having the clues fit into the quote from the first paragraph of LANG. I was completely thrilled that Laurie asked me to do one puzzle based on a crossword that I had created for Bouchercon 2008. Instead of one, she received three puzzles from me.

And where is the link to your website? Don’t keep me in suspense!! And do you know Will Shortz? I love that man!

My website is here. I have met Will
several times when I attended his crossword tournaments.
