I just started listening to the audiobook and no Jenny Sterlin! Amy Scanlon is fine but sounds very young, and it’s not the same after experiencing the last umpteen books with Jenny Sterlin’s wonderful intonation, accents, and timbre!
Just found out that Jenny Sterlin recently passed – my sincere condolences, and many thanks for the many, many hours of joy she provided to listeners around the world, and for making Russell and Holmes so real for us.
Ohhhhh why is there absolutely no mention anywhere of the death of Jenny Sterlin? Would you as an author whose series was almost exclusively read by this amazing actress, have any knowledge of her decease? It’s like there’s a media blank, which is almost unthinkable in this day and age :'(
To me, Jenny Sterlin was the voice of Mary Russell for all of these years. I am so sad that I cannot find any mention of her passing in discussion of this new book being released. We will miss the thoughtful, nuanced and unique talent that Ms. Sterlin brought to these characters and stories. She brought them alive. Thank you Jenny
