Russellscape winner
|May 11, 2009|
Please excuse the suspense — all of the Russellscape entries were so great, it took me a while to consult my panel of expert judges and pick a winner. In the end, we decided on Sara McClelland for her illustration of The Language of Bees (number 18 on the Russellscape page) as well as her two other lovely entries:Sara’s winning design will be made available as a T-shirt in the LRK Cafepress store, and she will of course recieve one herself. Congratulations Sara, and thank you to everyone who sent in their wonderful artwork!
Sara, congratulations on winning this extraordinary contest. All the entries were amazing but, as I have related privately, the winning picture really grabbed my attention and captured my heart.
All the entries were remarkable, and I commend everyone who submitted an entry.
I can’t wait to order my tee and wear it proudly to an LRK events.

Oh, that one was one of my favourites! A wonderful combination of LANG references, not to forget the beautiful colouring which will look gorgeous on t-shirts. Congratulations, Sara!
Congratulations, Sara. Your “Home” was my favorite, but I really like this one as well.
Great choice, in fact all of Sara’s Russellscapes were excellent!
