Often “upgrades” just mean things will become more difficult to use, but not on this site. Love the new layout, and the design. So much easier to navigate. Well done!!

And jeez, that’s a lot of post-its! Do the colors have a significance? Or did you just change out post-it pads midway through?

What an absolutely great line!
Three more months. I can wait three more months without going over the edge. Really. Probably. Like pregnancy, though that last week is going to be longer than the entire preceding month. Reading the chapters as they are posted does help.
OK – so I just sneaked a look. I’m always in the ”do I, don’t I” indecisive mode with these previews!
Laurie – just a thought – but both LANG and GOTH could be a ”Scottish” book in Waterstones if A&B could do a deal – they have a Scottish book of the month, so either author (!) or setting qualify. Better prominence in all the stores, at least north of the border, and in July in particular would stand out. And the Edinburgh International Book Festival in August, maybe…?

Reading a little bit at a time just makes you want more. Then you look on the book cover and see the count-down! Too funny!
Curiously thrilled to see that you, too, are a fan of brightly covered Post-its. What did we do without them? I myself am fond of the little thumb-sized ones.
And the latest excerpt is terrific…I love how you are able to evoke the primitive, passionate man just below the surface, while showing Holmes still firmly in control of himself.
