Homecoming…with books
|May 7, 2013|
So I get home after a week in New York with publishers and Bethesda with Malice Domestic, and to my shock I find that the book elves haven’t shelved the boxes of books stacked in my new study. What, you guys on strike or something?
So guess what I’m doing this week? Oh, in addition to going through the page proofs of The Bones of Paris, arriving today.
Those pesky book elves!
Maybe I’m just odd, but I really sort of like shelving and organizing books. Not so much organizing anything else, though…
Anyway, your collection is mind-boggling.
Well, of course they haven’t shelved your books. How ever would they know how you want them done? I don’t see any indication of a plan for them to follow. Believe me, if they shelved on their own, you would have such an awful mess. Welcome home and happy shelving.
For that matter, I´ve problems even to se any shelves, for the book. The real problem though, with shelving is to find all those book “I´d´forgotten about that one and i would just like to reread just these ones…”
