On the map

I got a fab present in the mail the other day: I’m on the map!

The artist said it was hard to choose one of the Russell stories, but in the end he was so taken by the secret exit from Mycroft’s flat, that he worked The Language of Bees into it–see it just above “The Greek Interpreter”?London map:LOB

The map comes from the Literary Gift Company, here. It also has these great mugs–literally-grammar-grumble-mug-no.-5-choose-material-bone-48816-p[ekm]150x150[ekm] less-or-fewer-grammar-grumble-mug-no.1-choose-bone-48982-p[ekm]150x150[ekm]

But honestly? I wish I had a newborn in the family so I’d have an excuse to get this onesie:a-modest-proposal-babygro-3378-p[ekm]250x250[ekm]

That’s exciting, Laurie – I’d seen that map on FB but didn’t know you were on it (although I think they should have picked a site near the sea in Sussex, too!).

Oh my goodness, that onesie is completely awesome and terrible all at once! And my sister is expecting her second baby in June, so I actually have someone to buy it for, LOL.

That’s cool but I wish you’d given credit to the artist by naming him. Also, that these pictures were thumbnails so that by clicking on them, they would get bigger. I can’t find Mycroft’s flat on that tiny picture nor read what’s on the onesie. Off to Google I go.

How odd, usually the embiggen function works fine. I wonder if I’ve accidentally re-set some control? Sigh…and sorry!

What an amazing amount of work to create that map! One could explore it for hours!

By clicking on the link in the post for The Literary Gift company, you can easily see any of these items. And the LG company does not give an artist for this great map.

What a wonderful endeavour this map must have been! Thanks for the cool link – I haven’t seen the Literary Gift company, and now I’m sending it to all my author friends!
    Cheers!
