Pour you a beer?

I’ll be working this great event along with Jonathan Franzen, Karen Joy Fowler, and Elizabeth McKenzie, raising money to support our local Planned Parenthood. But since this is a fundraiser, and you might live somewhat outside the driving area, you could just make a donation (…and we’ll owe you a beer.)

    Good for you, Laurie! And Jonathan, Karen, and Elizabeth! I have made a monthly contribution to Planned Parenthood for quite some time. EVERYONE needs services.

    Thanks for letting me know – just sorry I can’t be there. But the extra donation has been made (been a monthly donor for decades.) Thank you and all the others for supporting this vital resource – it is so important. I miss my days as an escort at the Napa PP. The only reason I stopped was when the Valley Fire burned my house to the ground and I moved out of state. I am reassured to see you and others continuing in supporting Planned Parenthood – my thoughts are with you all.

      Thanks for coming, I couldn’t hear what was going on in the Skylight Room but it sounded fun–and they raised a nice big donation!
