Takeback Tuesday: F train to Brooklyn
|April 18, 2017|
A lovely photo popped up on my Facebook feed yesterday:
The caption read:
A Taoist (me) gives up his seat so a Hasidic couple could sit together. They scoot over so a Muslim mother could sit and nurse her baby, on Easter Sunday. This is my America: People letting people be people.
–Jackie Summers
I don’t know Jackie Summers, but he has an interesting web page chronicling, as he says, his quest to become a person worthy of love. For today’s Takeback Tuesday, go over and have a look.

Dear Mrs. King,
What a lovely thing you have posted here! There is hope for us yet. Thank you for sharing this with all of us.
this is wonderful! YES let us treat each other with love and respect (we are all God’s children)! and do not take to heart what you here in the media…it is up to us now, one on one…that will bring about a revolution!
To me it’s scenes like that that represent the real America, and you see them so often in big, diverse cities. We really need to treasure that kind of acceptance and casual living together, because it’s what makes this a great country. If we’re not careful, we could lose it!
