Zombies in the family
|November 4, 2008|
I don’t talk about my two kids much here, because I’m a great believer in the family’s privacy, but you have to know how proud I am of them, right? Well, yet another example of how the two of them just make my heart glad appears on the local paper’s web site–here, just take a look:
It just makes a mother’s heart jump around all warm in her chest.
It’s all about this contest, you see, in the local paper, and I was thinking that maybe if enough people voted for this picture, the two of them might stop looking at me that way…

Is Zoe eating a bowl full of brains? Yummie! They’ve got my vote. It’s the least I can do for such a proud mum.

The brains! That’s such an awesome idea! I will have to share with my zombie loving friends =)
And their costume is a hands-down winner over the competition. The only thing that could possibly be scarier is that guy dressed as Sara Palin (there seemed to be a lot of her running around on Friday).
Great costumes – plus it was the only vote I cast today the result of which I can accept no matter the outcome!
Didn’t their mom teach them about table manners? 😉
My vote goes to them as well.

Interesting. Your daughter has a “Russell” nose. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of her before and I can’t tell about your son because it’s not a side view of him. All women with a scrap of Russell DNA have a variation of that nose, though.

Since I voted in today’s election last week (got to love absentee ballots — avoids lines and parking problems) it was fun to “vote” today for your kids. Great costumes!!
Someone is quite talented with makeup and design. –Alice
Got mah vote, especially for the finger necklace…not so much the brains…seen those in real time…know what they look like…brains that is.
Just placed my vote for them. Love the brains and the finger necklace. They are as creative as their Mom! Great costumes!
And I want that red robe. It looks incredibly comfy. 🙂
My, such fine offspring. I’d say you are lucky your heart is jumping around in your chest. From the looks of these two, it might be jumping around in the next room. Aren’t we having a grand Fall.–Meredith
