As I love both Mary Russell and Alice in Wonderland, it brought a smile to my face to see the email prominently say “Today’s the day, callooh callay!”

Love it, the image of a “rug-scorching, paint-blistering” row between our two favorites is wonderful. I can imagine Russell now: “All the years we’ve been married, and you’re STILL going off and disappearing for weeks without so much as a fare-thee-well…”
