Garment of Shadows giveaway
Random House did a fabulous giveaway over at Goodreads last month. (Sorry, everyone who won and is now writing me to say they stayed up until 3 in the morning. And sorry, too, everyone who didn’t win, and got a full night’s sleep instead.)
Now they’ve set aside another dozen Advanced Reading Copies to give away on Facebook. This is only for the US and Canada (yet more apologies) although we will do a giveaway here on Mutterings in a while, which will be open to the world, and also Miss Russell is planning one on Twitter. So don’t give up.
However, even if you live in the temporarily neglected parts of the world, you can read the first excerpt, either on the web site’s page here, or on Facebook, here.
And if you’re in the US or Canada (aren’t you North of the Border types proud of me for fighting to include you?) you can enter to win a copy by clicking on over here.
Do tell your friends about it, and even your Friends. Because they’ll thank you by lending you the ARC, when they’ve finished. I’m sure they will. If they don’t, I’ll speak to them firmly.
Good luck!
Does this enter me in the give-away? I could not get to the web site under “here” (said it was no longer in service) so it kept coming back to this page. I totally love Laurie’s work and hope, hope that I might win a copy of GARMENT OF SHADOWS.
Thanks
Sally
I get a “404” error when trying to enter the contest.
Are you coming from a US or Canadian address?
I’ve reposted the link, it should work now.
…although you may need to belong to Facebook to see it.
Goodreads was US only and I don’t have a facebook account.
Thanks for thinking of us this time.
I love all the Russell/Holmes books and I’m so excited that there’s a new one coming out so soon.
Really looking forward to it. Good luck at the launch, wish I could be there.

I actually have an ARC, for which I still have to leave a proper review (darn sense of responisibility and job and assignments and housework!) but I do have one thing to say. Please, please, never (unless of course you wish to legitimately retire to enjoy the grand-kits and poke at more interesting stuff… but still!) ever stop. Mary Russel is a fantastic addition to the literary world. And as a female BSI after all, one always has to think of the next great adventure.
I too had trouble finding this spot to post. However, it’s worth the search!
Bonzer! Love the book already, taking me to places that are so exotic and fascinating.
Thank you,
Lynda
