I only found this because – having received two calendars for Christmas and being an aspiring writer – I am filling one calender with the birthdays of fictional characters.
I do, however, have a question. I love this quote (and the whole book of The Moor) but what would the female equivalent be? “Look around for a man with…”? What two characteristics would Miss Russell say aremost in picking a husband?
Ah, now there’s a question. Maybe we’ll find her judgment in a future book…
