A Week in the Life…

So, this week I will:

Drive to San Francisco and fly to New York, Monday.

Have breakfast with a friend; go to the Sue Grafton memorial at the NY public library; have an afternoon meeting; and have dinner with friends, on Tuesday.

Have breakfast with friends, an afternoon meeting, and dinner with friends, and that’s Wednesday gone.

Thursday is a meeting with my publishers, various meetings with other writers, and the Edgars banquet.

Friday I have an early working breakfast and fly home to SFO, then drive to Berkeley with a quick meeting and a gala Book Festival reception/dinner, if I have the energy.

Saturday, I: help set up the MWA NorCal booth at the Fest; interview Catherine Coulter at 10; drive to Santa Cruz at noon; interview Mark Massoud at 2:00; and stagger away to sleep in my own bed.

Then Sunday, I drive back to Berkeley for the Book Fest again, working the booth until it shuts down at 5, and packing things away, then driving home again.

It’s the sort of week where I have to plan when I’ll be able to wash my hair.

Whimper…]

(If you’re interested in those various events, details are here. With any luck, I will be there, too.)

I enjoyed watching your interview of Catherine Coulter, but wished we could have heard more from you.
    Thank you!

Well, that’s the drawback of being the interviewer or moderator, rather than an on-stage conversation. You may get a chance later on in the year.

But thanks for your kind words, and I’m glad you enjoyed the event.

      Laurie
