Free stuff

I don’t know if everyone who reads this blog also gets the newsletter, but in case you are one who does not, we’re giving away stuff over there. The Recorded Books folk have been very generous with tapes and CDs of LOCKED ROOMS, CALIFIA’S DAUGHTERS, THE GAME, and KEEPING WATCH, so we’ll give some of thm away on the 10th of August. Everything I want to know about the comic novel is contained in Tristram Shandy. I’d rather know what you’re thinking about cockroaches. You make wonderful connections. I’ve watched cats; I’ve watched ants, but it would never have occured to me to liken them to one another.
