We have a look!

The Art department just gave me the cover!  So, what do you think? Yummy, huh?

I like it, especially the use of blue. I have pre-ordered my copy from the Poisoned Pen.

Beautifully blue and mysterious. Can’t wait to get it from the Santa Cruz bookstore.

Gorgeous – haunting, mysterious, and beautiful. And I like the period typeface, as well. I am so eager for this book!

Very classy. Will be interesting to see what A&B do with this title, too!

(Oh – and any update on compiling Mary’s war tales in book form…?)

    😉

Newsletter crossed with my earlier post, so YES, Mary’s War pre-ordered for the Kindle!

Blue , great design, lively typeface, yeah, but it’s the meaning behind the title that’s got me nervous…say it ain’t so. And now I have to wait.

Please don’t kill her off, only started reading this set of books about 5 months ago, read them all, reading your books are like sitting in a comfy chair sipping on earl grey and dunking the odd custard cream biccy, have orded a copy from poison pen to be sent to u.k.

You can’t kill Mary off yet – in “A case by Correspondance” she is 92, lots of stories yet!

Sorry to be negative. I know you don’t get to choose the cover. The above is just not worthy of you or your series. I hope you can get a redo. Regards, Bear Bauman

Looks fine to me, and I find it difficult to believe that Mary could be easily relieved of the burden of respiration involuntarily.

I AM JUST EXPERIENCING THE THRILL OF FINDING AN AUTHOR AND SERIES THAT ARE NEW TO ME AND THAT ABSOLUTELY CAPTIVATE MY IMAGINATION. JUST A FEW WEEKS AGO I STARTED BACKWARDS, WITH A “PLAYAWAY” OF ‘A MONSTROUS REGIMENT OF WOMEN’ SO BRILLIANTLY READ BY JENNY STERLIN. THEN ON WITH ‘THE BEEKEEPER’S APPRENTICE’ AND NOW I’M LISTENING TO ‘GAME OF SHADOWS’ WHILE I DO MY GARDENING.
I KNOW THIS JUMPING AROUND IS A MISTAKE BUT I TAKE WHAT IS AVAILABLE AT MY LIBRARY ON ‘PLAYAWAY’.
I DREAD THE THOUGHT OF MARY’S DEMISE YET I KNOW THAT THERE ARE MANY ADVENTURES TO SHARE WITH HER BEFORE THAT TIME COMES IN MY READING LIFE.

    Dear Mrs. King,

I love the look. However, (there’s always an however in my world) I will certainly miss Mary when she’s gone. She’s the best. I’m sure that Holmes would concur.

Your Not-So-Humble-And- Not- So- Obedient Servant,

    Dear Mrs. King,

I love the look! However, I will certainly miss Mary when she departs. She’s the best. I ‘m sure that Holmes would concur.

    Warm regards,
