Beekeeper scarf

Back before Christmas, I mentioned here that the Goodreads community were feeling out interest in a Beekeeper’s Apprentice “infinity scarf“. Well, it’s taken a while, but the good lady who makes the things has put up a sales link, for a limited edition, limited-time sale of the scarf. It is printed with the beginning of The Beekeeper’s Apprentice, and although I haven’t seen one left, I have to say it looks really lovely.

I followed the link to the Dec 8 page & then found the link to the Etsy site. I couldn’t find the Russell scarf on the site.
It’s detective work…click on the ‘pop over to Goodreads’ link and keeping looking at posts until you find the link posted for the scarf. Holmes & Russell would be proud!

Determined to have this so the order is in – I shall just close my eyes to the difference in the dollar between Canada & the US at this particular time. I know I will love wearing it.
Ordered mine this morning. Thank you Laurie for introducing it to me back in December. I’m glad to have a special scarf of my favorite book. And to know only a handful of people will have it makes it even more so.
Very sad that the scarf is out of stock already! 🙁 Just saw the link on my Goodreads email today, and so quickly, it is already too late.
Yep, just got the link and boo, sold out! I wanted one for myself and my mother who introduced me to Russell with O Jerusalem immediately after I got back from a dig in Israel (I went to Wadi Qelt & was reading along and couldn’t believe that it was in the book!)

Woohoo! Got notice that it was in stock at 3 o’clock this afternoon and by the time I read my email at 6 it was sold out. Then I signed up for notification again and was able to order my 2. Ysy!
